A strict selection, the use of 40% new oak, and an extended maceration have produced a rich, full-bodied Phelan Segur 1989 that offers both power and finesse. Deep ruby/purple, with gobs of red and black fruits in its aroma, this concentrated, impressively structured wine will prove to be a crowd pleaser. It is the finest Phelan-Segur I have ever tasted.
